Born and raised in St. Thomas, Ontario, Steve attended St. Clair College studying Horticulture and Landscape design.

Steve started his professional career at St. Thomas Golf & C.C where he soon realized his love of golf course maintenance.  During this time Steve enrolled in the University of Guelph’s Turf Managers Short Course where his love for agronomy became a passion.

In 1999 Steve made his way to Leamington, Ontario to accept the position of Assistant Golf Course Superintendent at Erie Shores Golf & C.C, Steve held this position for five years before taking over as Superintendent, a position he held for five  years.

In 2009 Steve accepted the position of Superintendent at Seven Lakes Championship Golf & Estates where he would spend a total of ten seasons.

Steve currently holds Class A memberships of both the Ontario Golf Course Superintendents Association and the Golf Course Superintendents Association of America.

During Steve’s downtime he enjoys spending time with his daughter and wife of 20 years.
